I honestly didn’t know what to expect from honeystack at first but i’ve actually been liking it a lot. we started using it because we wanted a better way to see what was actually happening with our customer conversations and engagement, and it’s been pretty useful for that. the main thing i like is that it gives you a lot of the information in one place instead of having to bounce between a million different tools. once you get everything connected, it’s pretty easy to go in and see what’s working and where people are actually engaging.

not the kind of software i’d normally get excited about lol but it’s genuinely been useful, which is really all i want from a tool like this.

been using customer.io for a bit now and honestly it’s made a lot of the annoying email/marketing stuff way easier we mainly use it for sending automated messages and setting up different campaigns depending on what people are actually doing, which is way better than manually trying to keep track of everything. once you get everything set up, it’s pretty nice being able to just let the automations run in the background.
there have been a few times where i’ve had to dig around to figure out why something wasn’t triggering the way i expected, but that’s probably inevitable with this kind of software. once you understand how everything connects, it’s pretty easy to use.
overall i like it. it’s one of those tools that you don’t really appreciate until you realize how much work it’s replacing. definitely still has a learning curve, but once you get past that it’s been really useful for us.
