Power Bi Copilot

Power BI Copilot is Microsoft's generative-AI assistant built into Power BI Desktop, the Power BI Service, and Fabric. Ask it questions in plain English and it pulls relevant data, generates visuals, writes and explains DAX formulas, and summarizes report pages for you. It's not a standalone product — it's a feature unlocked once a workspace runs on Power BI Premium Per User or Fabric F2+ capacity, and admins control whether it's enabled tenant-wide. It also has some current limits: it can't modify a visual once generated or set filters/slicers from a prompt, so some manual cleanup is still expected.
