HR for Health is HR and payroll software for dental, medical and veterinary practices, and an endorsed service of the California Dental Association. Every plan includes HR compliance support with advisor hours, employee handbooks are built from a questionnaire and checked by the company’s attorneys, and most plans also include onboarding paperwork, time-off requests with automatic accruals and a time clock with overtime alerts. Payroll, built into the two highest plans, handles pay structures common in practices such as per diem and percentage of collections and syncs with QuickBooks Online, and staff scheduling is an add-on. Its AI assistant, Herbie, answers everyday HR questions using the company’s approved sources, the practice’s own policies and handbook, and the rules of its state, and recommends escalating higher-risk situations to the company’s human HR experts. It is built for practices from single offices to larger groups, priced in tiers billed monthly, with the two plans sold online on a 12-month term and a one-time setup fee on all but the entry plan.
